Woke up and headed right down for a complementary breakfast in the Rica Victoria. A wonderful selection of hot foods and cereals, fruits and coffee, and even a bar with more traditional Norwegian foods like pickled herring and smoked salmon. There were beautiful jams and preserves to add and even a great selection of Wasa crackers!
After breakfast we decided to take a walk up to the Raddison Blu hotel where the convention was happening. Then we walked back down into the town and to the train station to sort our tickets. We decided to have a cup of coffee in a great café with great a Norwegian design.
The best bit was the delicious cardamom buns and coffee.
After we headed through the main street and unfortunately since it was Sunday nothing was open but we walked to a lovely park and even had time to stop and check out the property costs in Norway. (Franks favorite thing to look at in any town) :)
We then took a walk up to the Olympiaparken where the 1994 Winter Olympics took place! Went into the museum and walk through the stadium where most events took place.
I absolutely LOVE Norwegian style! Rustic and modern.
